2014.06.14-15 Minister visited Higashine City in Yamagata Prefecture

During 14-15 June 2014, Minister Singtong Lapisatepun and his spouse visited Yamagata Prefecture with 11 Thai students enrolled at Tokyo Medical and Dental University upon the invitation by Yamagata Prefecture Higashine City Tourism Association. Minister gave a speech at the welcoming ceremony and observed local products such as Higashine’s cherries, Kahokucho’s safflowers and traditional handicraft. The prefecture has launched the “Yamagata Destination Campaign” from 14 June 2014 in several locations of the prefecture.
