Vice Mayor of Chiang Mai and the Executive Board Members of Upper Northern Provinces Committee visited Thai Embassy

On 2 September, 2014, Mr. Chana Phaengphiboon, Vice Mayor and the Executive Board Members of Upper Northern Provinces Committee 1 (Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Lampang and Lamphun provinces) paid a courtesy call to Royal Thai Embassy Tokyo. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Minister welcomed and held a discussion with the group before they proceeded to attend the seminar held by The Office of Commercial Affairs. The seminar was about how to find the marketing opportunity and distribution channel in Japanese market.

The group stays in Japan from 1-3 September, 2014. Their purpose of the visit to Japan is to find new ideas for their local products` development also to seek for more trade alliances and business partners.
