Thai Youth Big Band performed at the Stellar Jam

On 14 September 2014, Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Minister, together with his spouse as well as the Embassy staffs, attended the 6th International Junior Jazz Orchestra Festival (Stellar Jam), held by NPO Japanese Students Sports and Music Promotion Council, at the Shibuya Public Hall, Tokyo, to encourage the 3rd season Thai Youth Big Band, who played at Stellar Jam as the guest band. The band was established under the Ruam Smai Big Band Project of the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture, Thailand, to strengthen music talent of 12 to18 -year-old youth. At present, the band has 34 musicians and 6 singers.
