Chargé d Affaires gave a lecture on Thailand at Tottori University.


On 26 November 2014, Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Chargé d Affaires a.i., gave a lecture on Thailand with the title “Thailand-Japan, Strategic Partners for the Future”, under the Summit Lecture Project which aims at promoting the international understanding, at the Tottori University. The University is selected to join a Global Human Resource Development Project supported by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), running for 5 years starting from October 2012. It was the 7th lecture of the project and the first time for the representative of an Asian Embassy in Japan to give a lecture to the students. Moreover, the Chargé d Affaires also met with Mr. Ryota Teshima, the President of the University and the academics, and also with Thai students studying at the University, and exchanged opinions about the exchange program among the University, Kasetsart University, Khon Kean University and Ubon Ratchathani Rice Research Center.
