Ambassador hosted a dinner for Ambassadors of ASEAN countries to Japan

On 24 March 2015, Ambassador Sihasak Phuangketkeow and Mme Varaporn Phuangketkeow hosted a dinner in honour of ASEAN Ambassadors and their spouses at the Residence. Ambassadors from the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Brunei, including Ambassador’s spouses from the Philippines, Cambodia and Myanmar, attended the event.The dinner allowed the Ambassador the opportunity to introduce himself to his new position and he confirmed his readiness to co-operate with other countries closely. In addition, the Ambassador and his wife took this opportunity to farewell the Myanmar Ambassador to Japan. The Myanmar Ambassador will finish his tenure in Japan soon and will return to Myanmar to take up a new position.
