Thai Deputy Prime Minister Visits Japan

On 21 – 22 May 2015, Mom Rajawongse Pridiyathorn Devakula visited Tokyo to attend Nikkei’s 21st International Conference on the Future of Asia at Imperial Hotel. On 22 May 2015, he delivered a speech on Thailand’s economic vision and its role in ASEAN community.
In a meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on 21 May 2015, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized on the current cooperation between Thailand and Japan such as on high-speed railway development in Thailand and Dawei Port Project in southern Myanmar.
On the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister also observed the productions of purple line trains at Japan Transport Engineering Company.
