Ambassador paid a courtesy call on Governor of the Bank of Japan

On 18 July 2015, Ambassador Sihasak Phuangketkeow paid a courtesy call on Mr. Haruhiko Kuroda, Governor of the Bank of Japan (BOJ) in order to introduce himself to his new position. On this occasion, the Ambassador exchanged ideas and opinions with the Governor on several issues related to the future direction of the Japanese economy. Since Japan and Thailand have close economic relations, any economic changes in Japan could also potentially have an impact on the Thai economy.
