Ambassador Opened the Seminar, Thailand: A Regional Headquarters and Trading Hub

On 22 July 2015, Ambassador Sihasak Phuangketkeow gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the seminar, Thailand: A Regional Headquarters and Trading Hub, which was held by the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo. There were about 430 people in attendance and there were Thai guest speakers from several related organizations in Thailand. Their presentations were focussed on persuading Japan to consider that Thailand be the location of the International Headquarters: IHQ and International Trading Centres: ITC. In addition, the Ambassador mentioned that Thailand is well prepared and ready to serve as the central location for both the IHQ and ITC.
