Som-O Night

On 31 July 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo cooperated with the Department of International Trade Promotion and Office of Agriculture Affairs in the Tokyo held, “Som-O Night” event at the Embassy’s Hall. The event was held in order to promote Thai Pomelo (Som-O) and Thai restaurants offering Thai food, using pomelo as the main ingredient during 1-31 August 2015. About 130 people attended the event, including Miss Som-O and honoured guest, Mr. Kensaku Morita, Chiba Governor. Many kinds of food using Som-O were introduced, as well as other Thai fruits distributed in Japan, such as coconut, durian, pineapple, etc.
