2015.08.29-30 The 6th Thai Festival in Shizuoka

On 29 August, 2015, Minister Bhakavat Tanskul attended the opening ceremony of the 6th Thai Festival in Shizuoka.  The event was held at Aoba Symbol Road, Shizuoka, Shizuoka Prefecture during 29-30 August 2015 with The Association of Thai -Japanese as the main organizer, supported by the Royal Thai Embassy.  In this occasion, Minister gave an opening speech together with other honorable guests from both Thai and Japanese offices beginning from Mr. Hajime Amano, chairman of Japan-Thailand Relations Association and other representatives from Shizuoka city and Shizuoka prefecture.

This year, the Royal Thai Embassy displayed an exhibition under the theme of Thai rice and products such as Thai sweets made from Thai rice. In addition, there was a mobile consular service in order to assist Thai people residing in Shizuoka Prefecture and nearby areas.

In this event, there are many booths selling Thai food and Thai products. In addition, Tourism Authority of Thailand also exhibited a booth to promote Thailand tourism and Thai Airways International, Nagoya Office sponsored a round-trip ticket Nagoya-Thailand for the lucky-draw event on the stage as well.
