Visit to Akita Prefecture by Ambassador

On 24 November 2015, H.E. Ambassador Sihasak visited Akita Prefecture at the invitation of the Akita-Thailand Friendship Association. During the visit, Ambassador Sihasak paid a courtesy call on Honourable Mr. Norihisa Sakata, Governor of Akita, and had meetings with Akita Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Executives of Hokuto Bank, respectively. He also gave a lecture at the reception to commemorate the 1^st anniversary of the establishment of the Association. Throughout the visit, Ambassador Sihasak reiterated that the relations between Thailand and Akita Prefecture had significantly developed recently, thanks to the Association and top initiative of Governor Satake and expressed his hope for further enhancement of the relations, especially in areas such as people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between Thai and Akita SMEs.
