2013.12.18 Embassy joined ASEAN-Japan “Drums & Voices” Concert

On 18 December 2013, Minister-Counsellor Waravuth Pouapinya led other diplomats to ASEAN-Japan “Drums & Voices” Concert celebrating the 40th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan friendship, which was organized by Japan Foundation at Bunkamura Orchard Hall.   Artists from ASEAN countries included Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Brunei) performed music with Japanese artists using their traditional musical instruments.  The performance was aimed at promoting ASEAN-Japan cooperation via the blended local music of each country.

Drums & Voices Concert had been opened in ASEAN countries from 17 October – 18 December 2013.  Mr. Tossaporn Tassana, who performed ranad and Peung-mang-kok, and Mr. Chris Shining Star (LOVEiS),  vocalist, represented Thailand.
