On 15 February 2013, H.E. Ambassador Thanatip Upatising hosted a dinner at the Residence in honor for leaders of Thai and Japanese private sector. The guests included Mr. Osamu Masuko, President of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Mr. Kenichi Hatori, Chairman of Gulliver International Co., Ltd., and Mr. Thongchai Jira-alongkorn, President of Viriyah Group.
