2013.04.14 Minister gave opening speech for Thai New Year Festival in Saitama

On 14 April 2013, Minister Singtong Lapisatepun and his spouse joined the Thai New Year Festival 2013 at Isehara Public Hall in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, where the Minister gave an opening speech. The event, which has been held for the 4th time, was organized by Thai Residents in Saitama Club. It aims at promoting Thai New Year traditions to Saitama and its neighbors’ residents. Thai traditional dance and music performance, traditional costume contest, and Thai cuisine and sweets tasting were introduced in the event.
