2013.04.20 Ambassador and his spouse hosted a luncheon for Board of Committee of the Thai Network in Japan (TNJ)

On  20 April 2013, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising and his spouse hosted a luncheon for the Board of Committee of the Thai Network in Japan (TNJ) at the Royal Thai Residence. Mrs Weerin Takeda, Head of Board of Committee, together with Mrs. Sujinda Izumida, Deputy Head of Board of Committee and the Committee, were invited to this luncheon.

In this occasion, the Ambassador and the Board of Committee of the TNJ exchanged views on ways to improve quality of life and to empower Thai community in Japan. Both sides also discussed the future projects of TNJ that help improve Thai citizens’ lives in Japan.

TNJ was established in 2007 with the support of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo. Its objectives include networking Thai volunteers residing in Japan, helping Thais living in Japan in their daily life and empowering Thai community in various aspects such as medical care and health promotion, education and learning, cultural enrichment and family issues as well as legal consultation and human rights protection.
