2013.05.29 Kasetsart University joined the 6th Daigaku wa Oishii!! Fair

On 29 May 2013, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Minister Counsellor, gave a speech on Thailand-Japan’s agricultural cooperation at “the 6th Daigaku wa Oishii!! Fair” held at Takashimaya Department Store in Shibuya. Kasetsart University, for the first time, joined the event as the only invited foreign university. It had jointly researched with Niigata University in producing noodles from rice. The university also exhibited its research on agricultural process and demonstrated how gas and heat pressing technology was used to produce popped rice from Thai rice.
The event was open until 4 June, selling various “university-branded products” developed by 38 universities across Japan.
