2013.07.21 Consular Section organized a briefing on preparedness for natural disaster in Japan for Thai citizens

On 21 July 21 2013, Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy, in cooperation with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anawat Suppasri, International Research Institute of Disaster Science, Tohoku University, Sendai City and a Thai volunteer group in Yamanashi prefecture, organized a briefing on preparedness for natural disaster in Japan for Thai citizens residing in Yamanashi and nearby prefectures at Yamanashi International Association in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

This activity aims at raising the awareness among Thai nationals living in Japan on preparedness for natural disaster and keeping them informed about the risks of occurrence of disasters in the future, especially earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
