2013.08.14 Mitsukoshi Bus Travel visited the Residence

On 14 August 2013, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising and Mrs. Monthip Upatising, his spouse, welcomed 29 members of Mitsukoshi Bus Travel, who are the premium customers of Isetan Mitsukoshi Ltd., under the program “Thai smiles, gothic architecture, luncheon at Royal Thai Residence”.  The guests were greeted by the Ambassador and later enjoyed Thai culture through a video presentation, Thai traditional music, Thai traditional dance by International Thai Dance Academy (ITDA) and fruit carving demonstration by Ms. Noriko Kosaka, President of Japan Vegetables and Fruits Carving Club, including soap carving and Thai sweet making demonstration by Thais who live in Japan.  At the end of program, the guests had a chance to enjoy Thai cuisine with Mrs. Monthip Upatising and received Thai handicrafts as souvenirs. Handicraft bazaar was also provided at the event.
