2013.10.09 COOL Japan! through Diplomat’s Eyes 2013

On 9 October 2013, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising and his spouse attended the opening ceremony of the 16th Annual: “COOL Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes 2013” photo exhibition. Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado, the honorary chair of the photo exhibition committee, presided over the opening ceremony and granted awards.

COOL Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes Committee has continued its activities with different theme each year with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Every year, it encourages diplomats accredited to Japan to participate in its activities, bridging Japan and other countries’ cultural relations.

Under this year’s theme, 53 diplomats and their families from 33 countries in total participated in this activity. Photos taken by Thanyamon Inthachai, Second Secretary, were also displayed in the exhibition.
