2013.11.28 ASEAN-Japan Music Festival

On 28 November 2013, Minister Singtong Lapisatepun and his spouse, together with Embassy diplomats joined the ASEAN-Japan Music Festival at NHK Hall, where artists from Japan and 10 ASEAN countries performed.  Representing Thailand, Mr. Thongchai Mc Intyre, or “Bird”, sang his popular songs including “Rao-ma-sing (let’s sing) “too much so much very much” and “Eek-mai-naan” (soon), the song composed for the Japanese who faced the disaster in March 2011. In this occasion, traditional Thai costumes were also presented to the audience.

ASEAN-Japan Music Festival was held by ASEAN-Japan Music Festival Executive Committee, led by Mr. Ryotaro Sugi, Special Ambassador of ASEAN, cooperated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and ASEAN embassies in Japan.  The event was to commemorate the 40th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan in 2013.
