08.26 The 5th Ooi Festa (Shinagawa Ooi International Exchange Festival)

On 26 August 2012, Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, organized the 5th Ooi Festa, or “Shinagawa Ooi International Exchange Festa”, in Chuo-Dori Street, in front of Oimachi Station, Shinagawa Ward. The purpose of the event was to deepen understanding of Japanese residents in Shinagawa Ward about foreign countries and their cultures. Eleven embassies and consulates in Tokyo which located or has specific relations with Shinagawa Ward, including the Royal Thai Embassy, joined and supported the event. In this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy provided the support for Thani Kitchen, a local Thai restaurant in Shinagawa Ward, to demonstrate and promote Thai cuisine as well as the Saenchai Muaythai Gym to demonstrate Muaythai to the audience.
