06.05 Working Group on Infrastructure, Transportation and Energy visited Minister

On 5 June 2012, Mr. Okas Teparagul, Chairman of Thailand’s National Economic and Social Advisory Council, led members of the Working Group on Infrastructure, Transportation and Energy of the council who visited Japan on their field study trip during 4-9 June 2012, to pay a courtesy visit on Minister Singtong Lapisatepun at the embassy. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Toshihiro Yamakoshi, Director of the Office of Project Development, Railway Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). In this occasion, the Minister gave a briefing on Japan’s energy policy issue, while Mr. Yamakoshi gave a lecture on the system of Shinkansen, Japanese bullet train, to the group.
