07.31 JTA Evening Cool Party 2012

On 31 July 2012, Japan-Thailand Association (JTA) and the Embassy jointly organized the annual Evening Cool Party at Gofukubashi Club, Tokyo. Ambassador Virasakdi Futrakul and representatives from the Embassy and other Thai offices in Tokyo, including leading Japanese businessmen and VIP who have connection with Thailand, altogether 150 people, joined the event.
Mr. Teisuke Kitayama, Chairman of JTA, and the Ambassador gave opening speeches, mentioning the long-lasting close relationship of Thailand and Japan and reaffirming the commitment to strengthening the ties of both nations to the future. At the same time, the Ambassador emphasized the Royal Thai Government’s water management policy and economic partnership enhancement opportunities.
The event not only allowed for opinion exchange and meeting between Thai diplomats and Japanese private sector but also promoted Thai culture through a variety of Thai cuisine and Thai traditional music performed by the Embassys Thai musical ensemble.
