08.05 Representatives of Embassy observed the 11th Muay Thai Wave from YOKOHAMA

On 5 August 2012, Hamakko Muay Thai Gym organized the 11th Muay Thai Wave from YOKOHAMA at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse’s hall with many competitions between Japanese and Thai Muay Thai boxers.
In this occasion, CAPT. Yongyut Phrompromrach, Naval Attache, presented the trophy, on behalf of the Ambassador, to the awarded boxers. Other Embassy officers also observed the competitions.
Hamakko Muay Thai Gym has held the Muay Thai Wave for 11 times. This event encourages the promotion of Thai culture to Japanese public. The Royal Thai Embassy has provided support as well as trophy for the event annually.
