11.25 Japanese Thanksgiving 2012 at Meiji Shrine

On 25 November 2012, Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Chargé d’affaires, attended the “Japanese Thanksgiving 2012” at Sanshuden, Meiji Shrine in Tokyo. The purpose of the event is to celebrate the harvest and thanksgiving to the gods of agriculture. Over 20 companies, agricultural organizations from all over Japan and the foreign embassies in Japan participated in the event by displaying their products. The Embassy, in cooperation with the Office of Commercial Affairs and the importing companies, displayed the processed food products from Thailand, such as jasmine rice, green curry, seasoning and wine, to promote Thai agricultural products and Thai food to Japanese people.
