Royal Thai Embassy visited Okubo Elementary School in Shinjuku-ward

On 28 January 2010, the Royal Thai Embassy official and staffs visited Okubo Elementary School in Shinjuku-ward to give a briefing in Thai language on Thailand and Thai culture for Thai students who were born in Japan or not familiar with Thailand. The briefing introduced Thai traditional musical instruments and allowed the students to listen to their sounds and to see how to play. Moreover, “Jongaben” or Thai traditional attire was also introduced to the students. Before ending the session, the Thai students said greetings and speeches on their impressions in Thai Language.
