Ambassador Virasakdi gave a lecture at Usui Senior High School

        Ambassador Virasakdi gave a lecture at Usui Senior High School during his visit to Fukui on 17-18 March 2010 at the invitation of Fukui Prefecture.  Lectures by Ambassadors are organized as a part of promotional events commemorating “2010 Japan APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting”, which will be held in Fukui during 18-20 June 2010.     

        During the visit, Ambassador Virasakdi paid a courtesy call on Mr. Issei Nishikawa, Governor of Fukui Prefecture and also met with Mr. Tatsuo Kawada, Chairman of the Fukui Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  Ambassador also visited the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, which jointly conducts excavation projects with its counterpart in Nakhonratchasima Province. He also attended study tours to a factory of Seiren Co., Ltd, a leading company in Fukui, and to Wakasa Ean Energy Research Center, a center for research and development of energy and technical training.
