The Royal Kathina Presentation Ceremony at Wat Paknam Japan

On 15 November 2015, Mr. Phatai Sooksommai, Minister (Commercial) together with the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo presided over the Royal Kathin Presentation Ceremony at Wat Paknam Japan in Narita city, Chiba. This Ceremony was held to mark the auspicious occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 60^th birthday anniversary.

The Embassy’s consular section, together with the Thai Network in Japan (TNJ), a volunteer-based organization run by Thais, assisted in passport issuance, legalization and household documents issuances as well as counseling for Thais experiencing with everyday life in Japan. At the same time, Office of Labour Affairs also provided consultation on working in Japan.
