Madame Akie Abe and Thai Cooking Class at the Thai Residence

On 17 September 2014, Mme Monthip Upatising, spouse of Thai Ambassador to Japan, organized a Thai cooking class for Mme Akie Abe, the First lady of Japan, and her accompanying persons at the Thai Residence, in which she demonstrated how to cook Tom Yum Kung soup, Beef Green Curry and Pad Thai. The participants also enjoyed the demonstration of Thai fruits & vegetables carving demonstration and a performance from Thai traditional dancers. This event has helped promoting Thai cuisine and culture to wide-range of Japanese people.
