Ambassador opened “Thailand Pavilion” at nanotech 2016

On 27 January 2016, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Thai Ambassador to Japan, presided over the opening ceremony of Thailand Pavilion at the 15th International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference (nanotech 2016) at Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Hall in Tokyo. The event will be held from 27 - 29 January 2016.

The nanotech 2016 is considered the world's largest nanotechnology exhibition which has been held every year for 15 years. Inside the Thailand Pavilion, there are exhibitions for Thailand’s masterpieces of innovation. For example the “Phu Fa Shop” utilizes nanotechnology to add value for Thai local community products in order to enhance their competitiveness in the global market.

In addition, Ambassador also took this opportunity to visit Japanese research agency partners such as Riken, AIST, TIA-NANO and NIMS, which have good cooperation with Thailand.
