Crossover Night at the Royal Thai Embassy

On 16th May 2016, The Royal Thai Embassy in corporation with National Food Institute, Ministry of Industry and Tourism Authority of Thailand held a concert and dinner party under the name “Crossover Night at the Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo”  to promote Thai Culture, Thai Music and Thai Food. Over 200 people attended the event including, Mrs. Atchaka Sibunruang, Minister of Industry attended as honor guest along with Ambassadors of ASEAN countries to Japan, high executives from both public and private sectors, people of the press and also selected winners in the “Thailand’s Fan club” by Tourism Authority of Thailand.
The concert included performances that impressed all the viewers by VieTrio, internationally renowned crossover band and special guest, singer/actor Kangsom Tanatat Chaiyaat, from the famous singing audition TV program, The Star.
After the concert, a dinner party was held consisting of Thai food from the 4 regions of Thailand and a cooking demonstration by Thai Iron Chef, Chef Chumpol Jangprai and Thai traditional performance by Kalasin College of Dramatic Arts.
