Ambassador of Thailand to Japan paid a courtesy call on Saitama Governor

On 7 June 2016, at 2.25 p.m., H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag paid a courtesy call on Mr. Kiyoshi Uda, Governor of Saitama Prefecture at Saitama City Hall. On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on the cooperation between Thailand and Saitama. Particularly, about economics since Thailand is an important base for business groups in Saitama. In addition, the Governor is scheduled to visit Thailand in October 2016 to meet with executive Thai government officers and the private sector. The Ambassador explained about and promoted investment policy in Thailand with an emphasis on innovation and technology. Finally, the Ambassador asked for cooperation from Saitama prefecture in taking care of the 3000 Thai people living there.
