Gifu Governor met with the Ambassador to report the promotion outcome of Gifu Prefecture in Thailand

On 6 July 2016, Mr. Hajime Furuta, the Governor of Gifu Prefecture, hosted a dinner in honor of H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, the Ambassador of Thailand to Japan to report the outcome of his visit to Thailand between 25-28 May 2016. This visit aimed to promote tourism and the agricultural products of Gifu Prefecture in Thailand, such as Hida Beef and Ayu Fish. During the visit, the Governor had the opportunity to meet  the Thailand Minister of Tourism and Sports, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and other Cooperatives, including the private sector. On this occasion, the Ambassador emphasized relations between Gifu and Thailand in every aspect and the commitment of Thailand to further strengthen relations with Gifu Prefecture.
