H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag met with Chairman of the International High-Speed Rail Association

On 15 August 2016, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag met with Mr. Masafumi Shukuri, Chairman of the International High-Speed Rail Association (IHRA). The IHRA is a general incorporated non-profit association with the aim to globally promote high-speed railway based on safety and efficiency through the principle of crash avoidance.  H.E. Ambassador Bansarn and Mr. Shukuri discussed bilateral cooperation in the area of high-speed railway development in Thailand as well as the upcoming forum organised by IHRA to be held in November 2016 in Kyoto.  Mr. Ken Matsuzawa, President of the International Friendship Exchange Council (FEC), and Mr. Hiroyuki Yushita, Managing Director of the FEC, also jointed the meeting.
