Graduate and Ph.D. students from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) visited the Embassy

On 16 September 2016, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed the Graduate and Ph.D. students from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies. They attended the lecture on “Evolving Economic Relations between ASEAN and Japan”, “NEXUS of Trade and Investment and Economic Integration” as well as “The Royal Thai Embassy’s Role and Responsibilities." They were briefed by Mr. Masataka Fujita, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Japan Center and Mr. Nattapong Lathapipat, Minister Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy.
This briefing was one part of the Embassy Tour program of the GRIPS, which is aiming to extend the network between the students, who are mostly government officers, from around the world. The embassy used this opportunity to raise awareness about ASEAN to the audiences as part of the Ambassador's role as Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo. The Ambassador has taken this position for 6 months (September-December 2016),
