His Majesty the Emperor of Japan and the members of the Imperial Family of Japan express the condolences over the demise of King Bhumibol

The Bureau of the Royal Household announced that His Majesty the King Bhumibol passed away on 13 October 2016.
The Royal Thai Embassy opens for the book of condolences from today (14 October).  At 13.45 hrs., on behalf of Their Majesties the Emperor and the Empress of Japan, H.E. Mr. Chikao Kawai, Grand Chamberlain, Imperial Household Agency, visited the Embassy to sign condolence messages and mourn for the passing away of His Majesty King Bhumibol addressed to the Thai Royal Family, the Government and the people of Thailand, through H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag. Furthermore, H.E. Mr. Nobutake Odano, the grand master of the Crown Prince's household and Ms. Junko Yokota, Private Secretary to His Imperial Highness Prince Akishino, also visited the Embassy to sign condolence messages on behalf of Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako as well as Prince and Princess Akishino.
