On 25 October 2016, Mr. Eikei Suzuki, Governor of Mie prefecture visited the Embassy to signed a book of condolences on the passing of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The Governor expressed profound sadness at the passing of the king addressed to the Thai people. On this occasion, both reaffirmed to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation as well.
