The Ambassador presided over the ASEAN Festival

On 30 October 2016, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the ASEAN Festival, which is organized by the ASEAN Youth Network in Japan. It aimed to enhance understanding and closer relations between ASEAN and Japanese youth through cultural performances and activities. In the event, ASEAN youth observed a moment of silence in respect and remembrance of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, including presenting a video of His Majesty King Bhumibol’s activities, which is useful for country development and enhanced relations between Thailand and ASEAN. On this occasion, the Ambassador explained His Majesty’s activities in the fields of supporting education and youth empowerment as well as appreciating the fact that 70 ASEAN youth visited Thailand in early October to study “Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy” and are adopting it to develop their own countries.
