An Officer of the Royal Thai Army, who received a scholarship from the Japan Foundation paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 11 April 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed First Lieutenant Wassamon Suvanno, an officer of the Royal Thai Army when she paid a courtesy call on the occasion of her receiving a scholarship from the Japan Foundation. First Lieutenant Wassamon received the scholarship to study Japanese language in Japan for 8 months. This program is held annually and this is the first year that a member of the Royal Thai Army has received a scholarship.This occasion also represents the further strengthening of relations between Thailand and Japan.
