Deputy Prime Minister presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Thailand: Brilliant Land of the Buddha"

On 3 July 2017, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Gen Thanasak Patimaprakorn presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Thailand: Brilliant Land of the Buddha" at the National Museum of Tokyo. The event was attended by Ms. Chaweerat Kasetsoonton,  Assistant Minister of Culture, H.E.  Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, Mr. Itikom Pamarasoot, Admiral Deputy Secretary-General, Mr. Krisayapong Siri, Permanent Secretary of Culture and Mr. Anan Chuchot Chancellor of the Fine Arts department. This event was collaboration between the Fine Arts department and the National Museum of Tokyo. The event will be held during 4 July – 27 August, 2017, showcasing more than 140 pieces of artifacts that were brought from the famous museums in Thailand.
