Thailand – Japan strengthened the cooperation for public health

On 15 July 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag together with Clinical Professor Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, Minister of Public Health of Thailand, met with H.E. Mr.Yasuhisa Shiozaki, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba Hotel.
On this occasion, both sides discussed strengthening the cooperation for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and solving the problem of the aging society. In addition, both ministers signed the Memorandum of Cooperation in the Field of Healthcare to further strengthen the cooperation in public health and medical care of Thailand and Japan.
