Ambassador and Madam give donations to Ban Rom Sai - a children home for orphans in Thailand

On 3 February, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madam Yupadee attended the launching event of “Hoshihana” a picture book from Ban Rom Sai plus Art Project at the Inspiration Hall, Itoya Ginza.
Ambassador expressed his appreciation to the hard work and dedication of Mrs. Miwa Natori who founded Ban Rom Sai as a caring home for children who lost their parents due to HIV. The orphan home is located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and currently taking care of 30 children at the age of 2 - 18 years old. Ban Rom Sai’s contribution also covers its effort to help develop local community in Chiang Mai as well as creating job for villagers.
Taking this opportunity, Ambassador donated a cash contribution of 250,000 yen from the ticket sale at the 26th Kishiko International Charity Concert held on 31 January to Ms. Miho Natori, Representative of Ban Rom Sai Japan. He also expressed our readiness to work closely with Ban Rom Sai as well as other charity organizations to further enhance cooperation at the people to people level between Thailand and Japan.
