Thai football players in the J-League paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 15 February 2018, 5 Thai football players, who are playing football in the J-League including, (1) Pol. L. Chanatip Songkrasin, Consadole Sapporo Team (2) Mr. Theerasilp Daengda, Sanfrecce Hiroshima Team (3) Pol.L. Theerathorn Boonmathan, Vissel Kobe Team (4) Mr. Jakkrit Vechpirom, FC Tokyo Team (5) Mr. Chaowat Veerachat, Cerezo Osaka Team together with Ms. Yumiko Kinoshita, executive officer of the J-League and also the Thai and Japanese media, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag. In addition, the Ambassador also hosted a lunch for the visitors at the Ambassador’s Residence.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the 5 football players for building the reputation of Thai football and also for being Thailand-Japan Friendship Ambassadors by strengthening relations between the two countries through sport.
The Ambassador was pleased to encourage the Thai football players to play in the J-League and promote their activities in Japan, including inviting them to present on the stage at the Thai Festival in Tokyo, which will be held between 12-13 May 2018. Before going back, they also visited the Consular Section to promote consular services for Thai people.
