Promotional event of “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” 2018, with the presence of Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado at the Thai Residence, Tokyo

On 19 April 2018, Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado graciously attended the promotional event of “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” Photo Exhibition hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Thai Residence, Tokyo, with the presences of more than 70 ambassadors.  

The photo exhibition “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” continues to enjoy the patronage of Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado for 21 years. It has served as the forum to exchange views and good impressions between the Japanese people and diplomatic corps in Japan. The photo exhibition will be organized in Tokyo and other prefectures. This year’s theme is “Meiji 150 years”.

As “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” photo exhibition is a very important activity connecting diplomatic corps to the Japanese society, it is a great honour that Ambassador Bansarn was named to serve as the Chairman of the Executive Committee. It is also a great honour for Thailand to have an opportunity to play an important role to further enhance the close connection with the Imperial family and with the Japanese people.
