Minister presided over the opening ceremony and handover of the Nyanasamvara Thailand – Japan Building at Wat Pa Bhuddharangsri Tokyo

On 26 May 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr. Cherchai Chaivaivid, Minister to preside over the opening ceremony and the handover of the Nyanasamvara Thailand – Japan Memorial Building on the occasion of the 130th year Anniversary of Thailand – Japan relations at Wat Pa Bhuddharangsri in Tokyo. Somdet Phra Wannarat, abbot of Wat Bowon Niwet was the chairman of monks and Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, CEO of ThaiBev Co., Ltd. was the chairman of secular. A lot of Thai people, either from Thailand or overseas, as well as Japanese participated. In the event, there is a photo exhibition called “Legendary land of THE KING Journey through the prints of Thailand’s cultural and natural landscape” which is the work of Mr. Pitsanu Suppamitr. In addition, these  photos will be further exhibited at the ASEAN-Japan Center, Tokyo and later at the Royal Thai Embassy.
