Deputy Prime Minister Somkid delivered a speech during the investment promotion seminar at Nagoya

On 20 July 2018, Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak delivered a speech during the investment promotion seminar “Thailand Taking Off to New Heights” which the Board of Investment organized at Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. There were more than 700 participants from various sectors of Japan.
On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the objective of Thailand towards Thailand 4.0 under the foundation of economic readiness regarding numerous aspects including strengths, policies, infrastructure, and geopolitical changes where the CLMVT truly become the center of the region under the policies such like Belt and Road Initiative, and Free and Open Indo-Pacific Strategy.
The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated the opportunities and potentials of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) which, as of the present, is progressing very well for policies, infrastructure, as well as the development of targeted industries under the Japanese concept of Connected Industries. In this regard, the Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office (Kobsak), the Minister of Industry, the Secretary-General of BOI, and the Secretary-General of EEC, also delivered speeches and discussion as well.
