The Ambassador attended the opening ceremony of the TAT Office in Fukuoka

On 30 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag together with H.E. Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Minister of Tourism and Sport of Thailand and Mr.Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor as well as Mr. Mr. Attakarn Wongchanamas, Consul-General in Fukuoka attended the opening ceremony of the Tourism Authority of Thailand which the government approved to reopen in order to tie the relations with Kyushu, Chugoku (some area) and Okinawa.
On this occasion, Mr. Hiroshi Ogawa, Fukuoka Governor and the executive officers either from government and private sector also participated in this event. Nowadays, Japanese tourists from Kyushu, Chugoku (some area) and Okinawa visit Thailand approximately 120,000 people or 10 % of Japanese visitors to Thailand (about 1.5 million visitors in year 2017).
