The National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Thailand Father’s Day 2018

On 5 December 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Thailand Father’s Day at the Imperial Hotel. Around 800 people including representatives from Japanese authorities and business sectors, diplomatic corps, Thai and Japanese people attended the reception. The Ambassador mentioned the importance of the 5th December which marked as the birthday of His Majesty the late King Rama 9, National Day and Father’s Day. In this event, H.E. Mr. Mitsuhiro Miyakoshi, Minister for Promoting Dynamic Engagement of All Citizens who was the honorary guest touched on the Thailand – Japan relations and the good role of Thailand for supporting the revitalization of the disaster area in Fukushima. After that, H.E. Mr. Takashi Yamashita, Minister of the Justice of Japan proposed a toast for the King of Thailand and the Ambassador proposed a toast for the Emperor and the Empress of Japan
