The Ambassador joined the visit to Japan of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN

On 20 May 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag together with Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN based in Jakarta paid courtesy calls on various Japanese high-level representatives including H.E. Mr. Norikazu Suzuki, Parliamentary Vice-Ministers for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Yoshhiro Seki, State Minister of Economy , Trade and Industry, and Mr. Masataka Fujita, Secretary General of ASEAN-Japan Centre. During these calls, Ambassador Bansarn shared Thailand’s priorities of ASEAN Chairmanship in 2019 and emphasized the importance of close cooperation with Japan on key regional agendas, including the Free and Open Indo-Pacific Strategy.
