Trophy ceremony of Sumo competition, May 2019, first of the new Reiwa era

On 26 May 2019, Group Captain Tanasak Boonthanom, Defence and Air Attache, as a representative of Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag participated in trophy ceremony of Japan-Thailand Relations Sumo competition of May 2019, which was the first time since the new Reiwa era. On the last day of the competition, the trophy was awarded to Asanoyama, the winner of this competition.
